We’re thrilled to be relaunching Green Drinks!
Green Drinks is a local meetup, sponsored by RegenAll, for all those interested in discussing climate solutions for a more regenerative future. It will be held on the third Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. at West Art. Originally launched in 2018, Green Drinks went on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we’re bringing it back to life as a fun, casual gathering meant to inspire ideas for fighting climate change at the community level.
All are welcome! No climate experience required, and we welcome folks from all backgrounds and sectors.
For the first meetup on May 15th, Hickory Towns Garden will be joining us to hold a native plant sale! You can purchase native plants (aka pollinators best friends) at Green Drinks or pre-order in advance and pick up at the event.
To pre-order, visit the Hickory Town Gardens website and place an online order. In the “Fundraiser Code” box at checkout, enter GREENDRINKS. This will remove shipping costs and let Hickory Town Gardens know that you will be picking up your plants at the event, not having them delivered. You will still need to enter your address, but you can plan to pick up your order at Green Drinks on May 15th. This way, you can choose from a wider variety of plants as well as pay ahead of time.

Join us for our May Carbon Neutral Coffee meetup! This month’s topic is Green Scrubbing + Financial Climate Activism.
We’ll learn about green scrubbing from Rachel Curry, a freelance reporter who covers sustainable finance and technology among other issues. Publicly traded companies are scrubbing mentions of climate awareness out of their financial reports as a result of the current political climate. Here’s what’s happening and what green investors can do about it.
Rachel Curry is a freelance reporter for CNBC, Observer, LNP and more. She focuses on tech, finance and local issues. Connect with her on LinkedIn and subscribe to Acronym, the newsletter that cuts through corporate jargon and gets to the good stuff.
